With nearly 20 years in the banking industry, Daniel’s career began at a small community bank, a foundation that instilled a community-first mindset. He joined First Century Bank in 2013 and now serves in the unique dual role of Security Officer and Marketing Coordinator.
This position gives him a special perspective. His marketing experience drives him to break down complex financial topics into clear, understandable information. As Security Officer, he is on the front lines against fraud, which fuels his passion for educating the community on how to spot scams and protect themselves.
Though not a native, Daniel has called East Tennessee home since 2007. He is dedicated to empowering listeners with the knowledge they need to feel safe and confident in their financial lives.
As a proud East Tennessee native, Shanna has dedicated her entire 33-year career to serving the financial needs of her community.
Her journey in banking has given her a unique 360-degree perspective, with experience in roles ranging from the teller line and loan processing to private client lending and 401k specialization. In her current role as Community Outreach Manager for First Century Bank, she focuses on empowering her neighbors through financial knowledge. This diverse background has provided her with a deep understanding of the questions and challenges people face every day.
Deeply committed to her home, Shanna is actively involved in numerous local organizations, including Dogwood Arts and the Alzheimer’s Association, and is an alumna of Leadership Knoxville. She is dedicated to helping listeners build the confidence to take control of their financial lives.
